It is tempting at times to just let things happen and go along with something that you know is, in the long run, not in your best interest. You reason with yourself and try to make yourself believe that you can put off being who your really are until a time when your life better accepts that reality. Days, weeks, months and years pass by and you look back to those decisions. You wonder what would have happened if you had listened to your heart. What if you had taken that chance? What if you had been bold enough to say good bye to that one person? Or..what if you had been bold enough to introduce yourself to that other person? What if you had stopped living the version of your life that everyone else wanted for you and just stayed true to the life that YOU wanted?
Maybe today is a good day for you to change those ways.
