SFW Tumblr (a fantasy)

Here in our little corner of Tumblr we generally know that opening the app in public is a risk (hello, Captain Obvious!)

However, I have found that if I leave the app on the activity/messages page, I can check the state of things without too much chance of disaster. I correspond regularly with several folks on Tumblr and can generally predict that the messages will be text only.

Until today.

Imagine the scene…. I’m the only woman in a conference room full of men, waiting for a meeting to start. I know the man sitting next to me (he’s surfing on his phone), no one is behind me, we still have many minutes until we begin. I see the red circle indicating a message on my Tumblr.

Fully believing it is an innocent message from @itsshinycollectordestinyworld, I decide to open the message from Shiny.

*queue scary music *

The message was innocent enough, “I thought you could use a morning giggle” she wrote.

What it should have said was “I’m going to make you piddle in fear”

Sure enough, there was a gif of a woman stroking what cannot-be-real cock and some frighteningly engorged balls.

I knocked over my coffee trying to flip over my phone and simultaneously choked as the coffee spewed from my nose.

I am, in fact, one smooth operator.

Crazy diversion achieved the only thing left for me to do is squirm through the rest of the meeting avoiding eye contact and thinking…

The lesson for us all? There is no safe for work corner of Tumblr for us 🤣
